We thank God who has been so good in helping our people and members of the CBC to build a school through fundraising three times a year. The fruit being Makina Primary School. We thank God for Iconium Baptist Church (U.S.) for being partners in this effort. Our Emmanuel Tailoring School at Nakuru now has five sewing machines and 15 students. Our first student, Emily Olnoch recently opened her own business in Nealam Town. She has left Nakuru since she lost her parents to AIDS. We also thank those who donated computers for our schools--Robert Awyane, Helen Oyiera and Kepha Amunze, to name a few. Many students have completed the Computer course and now have their own incomes. I am happy to report that Ngesa (parents lost from AIDS) will be greduating from the Mechanics course. |
